Akul Balaji set to host new reality show.
Akul Balaji, who shot to fame with several reality shows, is all set to host another new show, Indian, that will aired on ETV.
The new show is likely to replace Bigg Boss, which was recently concluded. The new show, Indian, is an adventure-reality show that discovers the true colours of different parts of India. Sources inform that it will be a Kannada version of MTV's Roadies.

The travel show will explore seven states in India through the eyes of 14 contestants. Seven boys and seven girls will take part in the show. Similar to Roadies, the contestants will be put in various tasks and will be eliminated every week based on their performances. Tasks such as preparing a delicious special meal famous in Karnataka or draping the traditional turban of Rajasthan, among others, will be given. The show will start in Laddakh and end in Kanyakumari. Contestants will stay in each state for ten days. As against Roadies where they tour on bikes, here they will travel by bus. The names of the contestants will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Akul has Loosugalu up for release. The film is said to be a romantic comedy which has Akul, Srimurali, Srikanth and Aishwarya Nag, among others in lead roles. Akul will commence shooting for Shubhavivaha from the first week of August.
