Also known as Parameshwar Bhat Gundkal Programming Head of ETV KANNADA.

Born in Gundkal. It is also known as Gundkallu. A small village near Yellapura. Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. Completed his schooling & College in YTSS educational institute Yellapura,Uttara Kannada District. And he got MA in economics from Karnataka state open university and joined to ZEE KANNADA channel as a programming head of the channel.

Parameshwar gundkal is also a writer and journalist. initially he joined VIJAYA KARNATAKA daily news paper and later to UDAYAVANI. He worked for 7 years in UDAYAVANI. And he jumped into ZEE KANNADA Channel  to Purchase Team and to SERIALS section later become Programming Head.

He also written a KANNADA book "NADI GUNTA KALLU DAARI" and arrived in a main stream of KANNADA literature.

When ZEE Kannada was struggling to attact viewers parameshwar gundkal brought new tv serials (JOGULA, CHI!SOU!SAAVITRI, PARVATHI PARAMESHWARA, DEVI and RADHA KALYANA) to viewers.

He left the ZEE KANNADA on 3 SEP 2012 and joined ETV KANNADA as a Programming Head.

When T.N.Seetharao's serial "MAHAPARVA" was about to launch Mr.parameshwar gundkal convinced Honourable chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. Siddhramaiah as VIP guest to inaugurate the function and to launch the serial.
